Bray Leino Events are delighted to be selected as the official event contractor to deliver the UK Space Conference 2019, which will be taking place on 9 to 11 July 2019 at the new International Convention Centre (ICC) near Newport in Wales.

The UK Space Conference is considered the most influential event for the UK space community, bringing together government, industry and academia, to build links, share opportunities and address mutual challenges at a crucial time of change and growth for the sector.

The 2019 conference is set to be the biggest and most significant event to date with over 1,200 delegates anticipated. The ICC Wales, an £84 million investment development, is due to open early next year.

This will be the third consecutive time that Bray Leino Events have delivered this biennial conference, with previous locations including Manchester and Liverpool. The team are excited to continue their work with the UK Space Agency and begin preparations for the 2019 event.

Jeremy Curtis, Chair of the UK Space Conference Organising Committee, said:

“After the success of the last conference in Manchester, we are delighted to be working again with Bray Leino Events on the 2019 conference. Using their experience and the knowledge of the space community we plan to make this the most imaginative and influential conference so far.”

Luke Brown, Managing Director of Event Management at Bray Leino Events said:

“We are thrilled to once again be delivering this flagship event for the UK space sector. It is easily one of my favourite events – compelling subject matter, significant challenges to address, real business happening, glamorous gala dinners…and astronauts! We have plenty of fresh and exciting ideas for the 2019 UK Space Conference and are looking forward to working with some truly great people across the space community in the year ahead.”
