Building international bridges with CPS

In 2023 we helped the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) host the International Association of Prosecutors conference and AGM.

Our brief was to plan and deliver a VIP delegate experience, a complex programme of ten separate events across six days and eight prestigious London venues.

The objective of the entire programme was serious business. Terrorism and organised crime do not respect jurisdictional boundaries. The world’s prosecutors and law enforcement agencies must be agile, resourceful, and – most of all – collaborative against increasingly sophisticated threats.

So we wanted to create an environment with connection and bridge-building at its heart.

Experience

No easy task with an audience of 500+ VIPs representing 180 different countries; a team of ten interpreters kept international guests engaged in discussions, addresses, and presentations in multiple languages, including Russian, Mandarin, French, Spanish, and Arabic.

This was a mammoth project with all the usual considerations of a major international conference at the QEII Centre, plus a raft of high-level meetings, workshops, a gala dinner, drinks receptions, and a farewell party.

We booked some of the most iconic London venues, the London Guildhall, St Martin in the Fields, Inner Temple, and The Banking Hall, ensuring delegates would leave with an unforgettable cultural impression.

The showstopper event, a gala evening at London Guildhall, featured entertainment from all corners of the UK, a Scottish piper, drummers from Northern Ireland, a 30-strong Welsh voice choir, and a roving violinist, aerialists, and acrobats from England.
